Anamalai Tiger Reserve

Nestled in the lush Western Ghats of Tamil Nadu, Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Spread across 1,479 sq. km, this protected area is home to majestic Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, leopards, and a diverse range of flora and fauna. Formerly known as the Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park, ATR is a key stronghold for tiger conservation under Project Tiger.
